Pleasant Prairie wanted an identity for their community which would create a memorable village center and direct future growth. Input from the community was critical for the success of the plan. Plans, designs, and guidelines were created using traditional neighborhood development strategies.

The Village Green is a pedestrian-friendly main street environment with commercial uses surrounding by housing. Environmental features are preserved and used as natural amenities, along with public squares, for the Neighborhood Plan. All residents are adjacent to or within walking distance of a public space.
