Lake Geneva Development
![]()
The Geneva Lake Development Corporation (GLDC) sought creative ways to generate proposals for a major 80-acre site at the edge of expanding urban development.
The GLDC had just completed a major business and commercial node near a new freeway interchange. PDI created both a planning concept and a development process that allowed the GLDC to combine their economic goals with their concerns for generating development supportive of surrounding neighborhoods. PDI's plan incorporated market alternatives for future commercial and residential growth. The concept, based on traditional neighborhood planning principles, allows developers flexibility in reaching different markets, while still maintaining high-quality design standards. |
