The Town of Holland recently completed a Comprehensive Plan which outlined specific areas for Cluster Residential Development; by focusing residential development in these areas, the Town can better maintain the rural character of open spaces and scenic views.

PDI helped the Town develop a new zoning district for residential clusters. Diagrams and drawings were used to determine the right balance of lot size, density, and the desired amount of preserved open space.

The new zoning district clearly outlines the town's intent to preserve its rural character while allowing developers increased density in exchange for more open space and smaller lots.
